Wow. I'm so sorry for being away for so damn long. I've been rather busy, and I haven't gotten my desktop computer back, and without that computer I can't really do too much. My laptop works fine to get me on the internet, but graphic-designing-wise it's not the greatest machine. My laptop is much too slow to handle the programs I normally use, and the amount of files I usually have open at any one given time. Sigh. I should be getting my computer back soon hopefully, like, really hopefully. I've been waiting for almost two months now. I'm surprised I've lasted this long. It's a good thing I have my laptop... Anyway, you can expect some updates in July - I can almost guarantee that, lol. As long as I don't end up working two jobs to pay my bills that is.

I'm hoping to launch the website on Wednesday instead of Thursday as I won't be here all day on Thursday. I'm pretty busy this week as I won't be home all day tomorrow and half of Wednesday, so I have a LOT of stuff to do tonight. Hopefully I will be able to get the majority of the things on my list done by tonight so that I don't have to do it all on Wednesday night when I get home.

I've updated a few parts of the website today. Mostly small things though.

I believe I made too many goals for this website that are just not attainable before the launch date. I've decided to focus more on some of the other aspects of the website right now that highlight other users on Nexopia. I'm hoping to get two pages of skins up that are by two Nexopia users. They'll be getting full credit of course! And once I hear back from both of them, hopefully I can also get their portfolio up on my website as well.

Okay, so I haven't finished nearly as much as I thought I had. Although I did take care of a few of the bigger issues, I forgot about the biggest ones. Before launching this website, I have set several goals; to finish all tutorials, have at least 50 girl layouts, have at least 20 guy layouts, have at least 100 original layouts, have at least ten styles of buttons with at least ten colours each, have at least ten icon categories with at least 50 icons in each, and to have at least 50 skins.

I have a lot of work left to do. I need to write up one more section of tutorials [ for photoshop ], make 38 more girl layouts, make 20 more guy layouts, make 30 more original layouts, make four more styles of buttons, make five more categories for icons, and make 48 more skins. Of all of these, making the layouts is the biggest project, followed by skins, icons, buttons and then the tutorials. Gah, I'm losing so much sleep over this!

I've accomplished quite a bit in the past couple of days, but not nearly enough to launch the website yet. I have a feeling though that if I continue to work at the pace I'm going, I may have the website up within the week. I still have many things on my to-do list, but I've taken care of the biggest things on the list. I need to start the Icons page as well as the Skins page, so hopefully I'll get those done tonight. Tomorrow I'll focus on the smaller things.

I am currently working on this website. I'm hoping to get it done within the next week, preferably in the next couple of days. Basically what I'm doing now is merging my two Nexopia graphics websites [ tnegraphics & nexgraphics ] into one website. I'll be keeping both accounts on Nexopia but I'll have all the graphics on one account, and all the tutorials on the other account. That way the blog entries will look cohesive throughout both of the accounts.

I will eventually be taking down my graphics website completely. I haven't updated that site in a few months now and there really is no point because I've got better websites now than that one. Eventually I'll go back and convert it to the graphics website I wanted it to be, but that will be a few months from now most likely. I'll keep whatever images I had hosted on the website, but everything else I am going to take down.

Now I must be off to continue working on the website.
